Treasury Settlements Officer

Job Title: Treasury Settlements Officer

Band: Team Player or Team Manager/Specialist 1

Department: Treasury Back Office

Reports to: Treasury Operations and IAS Manager

Main purpose of job

To process treasury transactions, including the recording, documentation and transfer of monies relating to these transactions.

Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure compliance with treasury policy limits and produce reports accordingly
  • Production and completion of the daily treasury compliance report
  • S17
  • Input of treasury settlements in accordance with documentation received from treasury dealers
  • Input of telegraphic transfers for treasury dealers
  • Forwarding and monitoring of confirmations and agreements relating to treasury deals to counterparties
  • Maintenance and monitoring of the Standard Settlement Instruction register
  • Maintenance of the back-up procedures for treasury management and voice tape systems
  • Reconciliation of Treasury Management Systems to the general ledger
  • Ensure filing systems are up to date
  • Sorting and distribution of post
  • Reconciliation of Bank of New York to Quantum

Qualifications Skills & Experience

  • Appropriate Treasury experience (preferred)
  • Computer literate and experience in Excel
  • High personal and professional standards
